To give you a smoother, faster, and more enjoyable experience, we’re transitioning from Kartra to SamCart. Honestly, Kartra just wasn’t the best fit for how we want to support you. It got the job done, but not without some clunky moments (we’ve heard your feedback!).
SamCart gives us more flexibility, smoother navigation, and a better overall experience for both you and our team! This change is all about making things easier, more reliable, and more aligned with how we actually work.
Below you’ll find answers to the most common questions about the switch and what to expect next.
General Transition Info
Why are you switching platforms?
We’re switching to SamCart because we want to give you a smoother, more reliable experience. Especially when it comes to logging in, accessing content, and receiving updates. We have found something that better supports both our team and your journey.
What’s different about SamCart?
SamCart is simpler, faster, and easier to navigate, especially on mobile. It allows us to organize your content more clearly, streamline checkout, and support you with fewer tech hiccups. It’s a more focused platform built to deliver the experience we’ve been aiming for all along.
When is the switch happening?
The switch began at the end of July, and SamCart officially goes live on August 1. You’ll begin receiving your login details at that time, and Kartra will be fully shut down on August 20.
How will I know when it’s time to log in to the new system?
You’ll receive a welcome email from SamCart with your login link and setup instructions starting August 1. We’ll also remind you via email and SMS so nothing slips through the cracks.
Will there be a grace period to access both platforms?
Yes! You’ll continue to have access to Kartra through August 20. After that date, all access will take place in SamCart, and Kartra will be fully retired.
Will I still receive updates and emails during/after the switch?
Definitely. We’ll continue to send you updates, announcements, and reminders throughout the transition and beyond. Nothing changes about our connection with you, just a new platform delivering the content.
Access & Login
Will I need to create a new login or password?
No need to create one from scratch. You’ll receive a welcome email from SamCart with a secure link to set your password. Once that’s done, you’ll be able to log in anytime.
How will I get my login info for SamCart?
You’ll receive a welcome email from SamCart at the email address you used in Kartra. It will include your login link and instructions for setting your password.
Can I use the same email I used in Kartra?
Yes! We’ve migrated your account using the same email you used in Kartra, so everything stays consistent.
What if I didn’t get the welcome/login email?
If you don’t see your welcome email, check your spam or promotions folder first. Still not there? Reach out to us and we’ll resend it right away.
What if I forget my new password?
No problem! Just go to the SamCart login page and click “Forgot Password” you’ll receive a reset link via email within minutes.
Will my previous logins/bookmarks still work?
Your old Kartra login and bookmarks will no longer work after August 20. We recommend updating your bookmarks with the new SamCart login link once you’re set up.
Content Access
Will I lose access to any of my programs or materials?
No. You’ll still have access to everything you previously purchased. All of your programs and materials are being moved over to SamCart and will be available to you in the new system.
Will my previous progress (like completed lessons or checkmarks) transfer over?
Unfortunately, lesson completion checkmarks and progress tracking won’t transfer from Kartra to SamCart. You’ll still have access to all of your content, but you may need to manually track where you left off if you’re mid-program.
Will my workbooks, PDFs, or downloads still be available?
Yes! Any downloadable materials (like PDFs, workbooks, or resource guides) that were included in your program will still be available in SamCart. Nothing is going away, just relocating.
Will I still have lifetime access if that’s what I originally purchased?
Yes. If your original purchase included lifetime access, that access will carry over exactly as promised in the new platform.
Will I still get access to old content?
Absolutely. Any programs or materials you’ve previously had access to will still be available to you in SamCart, even if they’re no longer actively promoted. Kartra will no longer host our content on August 20, 2025.
Billing & Subscriptions
Will my billing or subscription change?
Nope! Your pricing, subscription terms, and access will all stay the same. We’re simply moving to a new system that better supports your experience, not changing your agreement.
Will my payment method transfer automatically?
No, payment methods do not transfer automatically from Kartra to SamCart.Due to security and compliance reasons (like PCI regulations), payment information can’t be transferred directly between platforms. Customers will typically need to re-enter their payment details in SamCart, even if they had an active subscription in Kartra.
Will my renewal date stay the same?
Yes! If you had an active subscription in Kartra, your renewal date and billing cycle have been preserved in SamCart. The SamCart team has made sure your subscription continues without interruption, no action needed on your end. If you encounter an issue, reach out to us!
If I was on a payment plan in Kartra, will that continue in SamCart?
Yes, your payment plan will continue in SamCart exactly where it left off. No action is needed on your part unless you’d like to update your payment method. If you encounter an issue, reach out to us!
How can I update my payment info in the new system?
Once you receive your login to SamCart, you’ll be able to update your payment info anytime from within your account dashboard. If you have trouble accessing it, just reach out! We’re happy to help.
Will I receive receipts and billing emails?
Yes! You’ll continue to receive billing confirmation emails and receipts just like before, but now they’ll come from SamCart instead of Kartra.
User Experience & Support
Is the experience better on my phone now?
Yes! One of the main reasons we transitioned to SamCart is because it provides a cleaner, faster, and more user-friendly experience on mobile. Whether you’re watching videos, reading content, or checking in on your course progress, the new platform is easier to navigate on your phone than Kartra was.
Will the layout and navigation be similar to what I’m used to?
The layout will look a little different, but it’s more streamlined and intuitive. We’ve organized everything to help you find your programs faster, access content easily, and enjoy a smoother overall experience. You’ll get used to it quickly and we’re here if anything feels unclear.
Where do I go if I have questions or need help?
You can reach out directly to our team for anything related to your courses, login, or access. While SamCart powers the new platform, your experience is still fully supported by us and we’re happy to help with anything that comes up.
If you’re experiencing a technical issue specifically with the SamCart platform (like a site-wide error or loading problem), you’re also welcome to reach out to SamCart support directly, but we recommend starting with us so we can guide you or handle it on your behalf.
Do I contact Samcart customer support or you if I have issues?
You’ll reach out to us first. Even though your courses now live on SamCart, we’re still the ones managing your content, access, and support. Think of SamCart as the house and we’re the hosts making sure everything inside works just right.
If you ever run into a platform-level tech issue (like pages not loading or system errors), you can contact SamCart directly, but in most circumstances we can either fix it or get in touch with them for you.
Is there a help video or walkthrough to show me around?
Yes! We’ll be sending out a short walkthrough video to show you how to log in, navigate your courses, and find what you need. It’ll be simple, clear, and sent to your inbox as part of your onboarding.
Can I download or listen to content offline in the new system?
Some content may be downloadable, depending on the program. We’ll clarify which resources can be accessed offline inside each course. For audio or video-based programs, we’ll continue to explore the best way to support offline access and keep you posted if that option expands.
